EM, the leading strategic communications and investor relations advisory firm for clients in Russia, China and other emerging markets across Eurasia, is pleased to announce a new senior hire in its Moscow office as the agency further strengthens its market leading offering.
Ekaterina Shatalova, a senior PR consultant with extensive background in business journalism, joined EM on 26 April. Most recently, she spent more than two years working for a London-based PR consultancy where she advised a wide range of Russian clients in various sectors including oil & gas, metals & mining, chemicals and retail. Ekaterina developed and executed media campaigns in the UK, continental Europe, the Middle East and Asia (China, Japan and South Korea).
Prior to her transition into PR, Ekaterina worked as a business journalist and editor for Bloomberg News as well as at Interfax in Moscow. She holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi, one of Europe’s top five business schools, and a degree in Journalism from Moscow State University.
